We spoke to our Director & Designer Kate about the beautiful new collection…
- What was your inspiration for the new collection?
I wanted to create something simple, classic, and timeless. I basically live in a bikini and am always coming and going - you will rarely find me in normal clothes, so I have focused on over swim pieces in this collection as I love nothing more than being able just to quickly throw something on over my bikini when I need to duck out. I have designed the pieces to be dressed up or down, so you can wear them to the beach or to the bar if you wanted!
- What is your favourite piece from the new collection?
That is a tough one, I would say the Costa Rica wrap skirt or the Cabo dress which is coming in part two of the summer injection.
- What are you getting up to this summer?
After this crazy year, beach days are in order - I will be surfing and enjoying the simple things in life. I’m really looking forward to flying to my hometown and spending time with my nearest and dearest. I will also be focusing on bringing out some fresh new prints for our swimwear collection.
- Have you made any changes to the brand you would like our customers to know about?
Yes - we have now added XL to our sizing, at this stage all our bestselling pieces can now be purchased in S, M L & XL, and we will be stocking the entire range in all four sizes in due course. We are also moving Aloé into more of a beachwear and lifestyle brand - we have some big, exciting plans on the horizon!
The summer injection also includes our fave Bilgola top and Chloe bottoms in Midnight Polka and the much loved Mykonos bottoms and Split top in Sea Bath. Drop 2 coming soon!
